Как раз недавно смотрел по NG фильм о Луне. По последним расчетам ученых, как раз Луна и была тем щитом, которая спасала Землю от многих столкновений с космическими телами. Тогда и сутки на Земле были часов 12 и Луна была раза в 2 ближе.
